EU cohesion is growing, but not strong enough
On October 7, 2016 at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia was held a conference of the Department “International economic relations and business” dedicated to Bulgaria’s membership in the European Union. Participation in European Integration Summer School at the University of Agder
In early July 2016 prof. Dimitar Hadjinikolov participated in the Summer School on European Integration at the University of Agder in the Norwegian city of Kristiansand. He delivered lectures devoted to contemporary EU cohesion policy and its implementation in Bulgaria.
It was the 25th edition of the European Integration Summer School. This time it includes two courses taught over a period of six weeks in the summer and a web-based course taught remotely during the fall semester. Thanks to the combination of these two forms of training students were enabled to master the bulk of matter in the summer, then alone to prepare an exposé on any of the topics studied in school. By positive assessment they receive 10 credits for the course within the studied Bachelor programs at the university.

Participation in the International Week of the University of Alicante
From 15 to March 18, 2016 prof. Dimitar Hadjinikolov participated in the International Week of the Economic Faculty of the University of Alicante. The participation was within the mobility program “Erasmus”. His lecture was titled “EU Trade Defense Instruments” and can be found below.
CEBMM Conference in Shanghai
On 12 and 13 March 2011, Prof. Dimitar Hadjinikolov participated in the international research conference in Shanghai – CEBMM 2011 with a presentation titled “The Impact of Accession to the EU on Bulgaria’s Export Specialization”.
On April 18, 2011, the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) organized an introductory training course on how SMEs to acquiring foreign trade skills and gain access to foreign markets.
Prof. Dimitar Hadjinikolov (University of National and World Economy) gave a lecture in front of 100 participants titled “Practical Guidelines and Techniques in Foreign Trade”. See presentation below.
Between 29.05 and 1.06.2012 Prof. Hadjinikolov participated in a study visit on “ Developing the spirit of entrepreneurship in young people” The visit took place under the program of the European Union “CEDEFOR” in Reggio di Calabria (Italy) with the participation of 15 representatives of universities and NGOs. The aim of the event was an exchange of best practices. Prof. Hadjinikolov participated as Vice-President of the Union of Economists in Bulgaria (UIB) and briefed the participants on the “Young Economist Competition”, organized annually by the UIB.
